Two Projects to Start the Month

July 2nd, 2024

We did a couple of projects in the past few days. One homeowner had a door that was installed so incorrectly that every time it rained, her kitchen floor flooded; plus, she had mice coming in. The second project was to replace some rusted out railings to make sure the homeowners had a safe way to get out of their home. Thanks to Chuck and Harry.

Various Home Repair for Veteran’s Wife

July 6th, 2024

We did a big project the past few days. The homeowner’s husband (Veteran) passed away last August and during his long illness, repairs had been put on hold. The homeowner’s kitchen tile floor was breaking apart and causing a safety hazard just walking on it. So, we tore up the floor, fixed the subfloor and replace the entire floor with luxury vinyl waterproof plank flooring. It turned out great.

We also replaced some electric fixtures, outlets and lights as well as some bad drywall, installed a smaller bathroom vanity, countertop and faucet. We still have some professional electrical work that needs taken care of, but this project is turning out great. Thanks to Randy, Paul and Danielle for your incredible help.

Complete Porch Rebuild

July 10th, 2024

This one was a mess. Thanks to Chuck and Paul from Olin Winchester for your incredibly hard work today. We had to cut down the iron railings that were rusting out, bust up the steps that were cracked and unsafe, build new railings and steps, jack up the porch roof, install a header, and replace the soffit which was full of wasp and birds’ nests. We got it done all in one day. You guys are awesome. The homeowner was thrilled.

Home Repairs in the Heat of Summer

July 17th, 2024

We did a couple of projects this week, even though it’s been really hot outside. We replaced the rusting, unsafe porch railings with new railings on one home, and we replaced a rotten windowsill and installed a new storm door in another home. They turned out great and the homeowners were really happy with the results.

Improving the Lives of Senior & Veteran Homeowners

July 20th, 2024

We’ve had a really, really busy past few days. We replaced some rotting deck boards and railings, started and finished a wheelchair ramp, cleaned up and made access to a back deck and yard and we also stained a deck for a local veteran. We had almost 20 volunteers from Olin Winchester, Leidos and Gateway Family Church helping to improve the lives of senior and veteran homeowners in our community. Check out some of these pictures.

July 26th, 2024

We did a quick project today. This concrete porch was really bad…it was cracked and really unsafe. Thankfully, we were able to build right over the porch. The homeowners were thrilled with the results.
