Our First Wheelchair Ramp of 2023

We finished up our first wheelchair ramp of 2023 today. Thank you, Cindy, Justin and Walt for your help in pulling this all together. And as always, thank you to the Agency for Community Transit for your continued support. The homeowner was able to get out of her house without being carried for the first time in almost a year.
Another Successful Wheelchair Ramp Despite the Cold & Snow

A huge shout out to Walt and Abraham for helping finish this wheelchair ramp for a local veteran. It was a big project and it turned out great. As always, thanks to the Agency for Community Transit for their support.
“The cold and even the snow flurries won’t stop us from honoring our veterans. Today we were able to partner with Chris at Rebuilding Together SW Illinois to build a wheelchair ramp for a local veteran.”

Replacing An Old Aluminum Ramp

We finished up this wheelchair ramp and steps over the weekend. The homeowner is thrilled with the end result. The homeowner had an aluminum ramp that is failing – the welds are breaking and it’s not safe anymore. Thanks to Zach and Josh for your help and as always, thanks to the Agency for Community Transit for you continued support.
