New Waterproof Flooring for Local Veteran

March 13th, 2024

BEFORE

AFTER

Thanks to the great folks (Clayton, Larry and Amy) at Olin Winchester for coming out and helping with this veteran’s flooring project. He had stumbled and had fallen 6 times due to the uneven flooring, so we replaced it all with waterproof vinyl plank flooring. It turned out great.

While I’m at it, HUGE shoutout to Olin Corporation – last year they allowed their employees 16 hours a year to volunteer and this year they are granting their employees up to 40 hours of time off to volunteer within their communities. #OlinGivesBack

Another Wheelchair Ramp for Veteran Family

March 16th, 2024

BEFORE

AFTER

We started it on Friday and finished up this ramp today for a veteran’s family – then turned around and installed another ramp for a different family. The springtime is always a busy time for us.

Thanks to Amy and Jeff who came out and helped work on this ramp. It turned out great. And thanks to the Agency for Community Transit for your continued support.

Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp for 92-Year-Old and Granddaughter

March 16th, 2024

We finished up one ramp today and turned around and built another ramp for a 92-year-old homeowner who has a granddaughter living with her that is wheelchair bound. They had a pretty unsafe set up to get her in and out of the home, so we helped by installing this aluminum ramp. Thanks to Rob for your help and, as always, thanks to the Agency for Community Transit for your continued support.

New Porch Steps for Local Veteran

March 22nd, 2024

BEFORE

AFTER

These guys. Thanks so much for the great folks at Gateway Family Church. They tore apart and rebuilt some porch steps in record time and fashion. It was a great day to help this veteran homeowner.

Replacing a Dangerous Wheelchair Ramp

March 30th, 2024

BEFORE

AFTER

The old wheelchair ramp was in such bad shape, it only took about 15 minutes to tear it out. I’m surprised that no one got hurt on it. Thanks to Austin and James for helping build this ramp for a local homeowner. Thanks also to the Agency for Community Transit for your continued support.
