Wheelchair Ramp Repair for Local Veteran

We partnered with The Home Depot to repair a local Veterans wheelchair ramp this morning. It was a great project to help us kickstart a new year.
The deck boards for the ramp weren’t even nailed down…they came up simply by lifting them off. We replaced the railings on the ramp also.
Thankfully, it wasn’t too bitterly cold this morning to work this quick repair project. Thanks to the Home Depot and Agency for Community Transit for your continued support in helping our Veterans. The homeowner began her service in the Army in 1974 and was telling me stories about how it was for a female to serve during the 70’s. I’m so happy that we were able to help her out in a small way. Let me tell you, I get to meet the nicest folks.
It turned out great and the homeowner was thrilled with the results.
